One of the favorite hangouts is the mud oval. This was Round One of the 2012 Championship Mud Racing Series.

The promoters of the High Lifter Mud Nationals presented by Can-Am claim this is the biggest event of its kind in the world. After attending the 2012 Mud Nationals, the staff at STI could not argue that point. This spectacular party/competition, held every spring at the Mud Creek Off-Road Park in Jacksonville, Texas, has consistently drawn huge crowds of ATV and UTV enthusiasts since its inception ten years ago. The last few editions have seen more than 10,000 mud fans come through the gates, and this year was no different.

Many come simply for the scene: to see and be seen, to hang out and to just chill with old and new friends. The camaraderie and entertainment—including free concerts and giveaways—are hard to beat. Some come to beat each other, in events like the EPI Endurance Challenge, the Can-Am/BRP Mud Bog, the Polaris Mudda Cross, The Dynojet Bad 2 Da’Bone, the Mud Jam Stereo Competition and the S3 Powersports Poker Run, and more. Organized trail rides, barbeques, camping and the overall hang-loose atmosphere make this a must-do for mudslingers from all over.

It’s also a must-do for companies wanting to show off their latest and greatest off-road products. Numerous powersports vendors and manufacturers were in attendance this year, including STI Tire & Wheel. With a lot of help from our partners at MTA Distributing, who were also supporting several local dealers, STI rolled out the all-new Silverback-XLite tire. It drew tremendous interest, especially after ATV/UTV owners had a chance to try it. We were mounting them up and moving them out as fast as we could get them off the truck! The taller Silverback-XLite sizes were especially popular with this crowd.

It was awesome meeting up with so many customers and participants and being a part of this incredible event. STI hopes to see you again next year. To start making your plans, visit www.atvmudnationals.com.
